Location: Frederick, MD

The Work:  Construct multiple types of masonry walls and structures using brick, block, stone, and other masonry materials per specifications on commercial projects including schools, government buildings, office, retail centers etc.

Requirements:  Minimum 36 months experience as fully skilled, quick, and neat mason.  Deep and detailed knowledge of commercial masonry and commitment to safe work practices, need for full head joints/on bond/plumb/level/square, clear cavities, proper placement of reinforcement and water-tight flashing installation. Physically fit for rigorous construction work including heavy lifting, shoveling, carrying, bending, twisting, climbing, pushing wheelbarrows etc.  Willing to cooperate, follow direction, and continue to learn new skills. Able to communicate with supervisors and crew members.  Reliably shows up at job-site Monday through Friday and some weekends (mainly Saturday as weather and project demands).  Must be able to pass drug test, provide adequate legal identification, and have sufficiently clear criminal record.  OSHA, Red Cross, or other relevant training a plus.

–Base Pay $22/hr.
